If you make a credit/debit card donation or purchase, the information you give is processed by third party payment processors specialising in the secure processing of credit/debit card transactions.

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity.
Who can access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. The exceptions are:
- Third party service providers working on our behalf (Data Processors). We may pass your information to our third-party service providers for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example to process donations and send you mailings). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes.
- Third party service providers we collaborate with (Data Processors). When you make a donation or pay by credit/debit card, these transactions are processed by a third-party payment processor who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. Security of your information
We store and process your personal information on systems with the same level of protection and privacy as banks, government agencies, insurance companies, etc, in Australia.
In some circumstances, we use service providers (Data Processors) who hold or transfer your personal information outside Australia. In such cases equally secure storage and governance by equally stringent laws are in effect. We do not make any arrangements with a third party until they can demonstrate the same duty of care and confidentiality.
Otherwise the only circumstances wherein we will we may disclose your personal information is to comply with the law. Nonetheless we will take steps to ensure your privacy rights continue to be protected.
Your choice whether or not you want your information held in our system
You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If at any time you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us you may request your name be removed from our system by writing to us.
Please note, we will not remove your name from our system if requested by a third party, including family members, until we are satisfied they are authorised by you to make such a request, or have been granted legal guardianship or power of attorney.
